OUR APPROACH

Due to the specialised nature of research materials, Pioneer Research generally does not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges.

However, nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to customers under the Australian Consumer Law where those rights cannot legally be excluded.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. RESEARCH USE ONLY

All products supplied by Pioneer Research are intended strictly for legitimate scientific, laboratory and research purposes.

Products are not intended for human or veterinary consumption, administration or therapeutic use.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their purchase, possession, storage, handling and use of any product complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. CHANGE OF MIND

Due to the nature of our products, we do not generally accept returns, refunds or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind;
  • Incorrect product selection;
  • Ordering the incorrect quantity;
  • Failure to verify product specifications before purchase;
  • Improper storage or handling after delivery; or
  • A research application not producing an expected result.

Where applicable, statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

3. ORDER ACCURACY

Customers are responsible for reviewing their order before completing payment, including:

  • Product selection;
  • Quantity;
  • Shipping address; and
  • Contact information.

Once an order has entered processing or has been dispatched, we may be unable to make changes or cancellations.

If you believe an error has been made by Pioneer Research, please contact us as soon as possible.

4. DAMAGED, INCORRECT OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If your order arrives damaged, contains an incorrect product, or you believe there is an issue with the supplied product, contact Pioneer Research promptly after delivery.

Please provide:

  • Your order number;
  • A description of the issue;
  • Photographs of the packaging and product; and
  • Any other information reasonably required to assess the matter.

Where appropriate, Pioneer Research may offer a replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with applicable law.

5. SHIPPING, DELAYS AND LOST PARCELS

Orders are dispatched using the available shipping service selected at checkout and may include tracking where available.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, weather, peak periods or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If tracking has not updated for an extended period, customers should first check the relevant carrier's tracking system and contact the carrier where appropriate.

Pioneer Research will reasonably assist with delivery enquiries and investigate issues with the carrier where required.

Where a parcel is confirmed as lost, damaged or otherwise undeliverable, any remedy will be assessed in accordance with the circumstances and applicable consumer law.

6. REGULATORY OR CUSTOMS ISSUES

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products ordered can lawfully be purchased, possessed, imported and used for their intended research purpose in their location.

Pioneer Research does not guarantee that a shipment will be accepted, cleared or delivered where a regulatory, customs or other legal restriction applies.

Nothing in this section limits any rights a customer may have under applicable Australian law.

7. REFUND PROCESSING

Where a refund is approved, refunds will generally be made using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

8. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By placing an order with Pioneer Research, you confirm that you have reviewed the relevant product information and agree to this Refund & Returns Policy, subject to any rights available to you under applicable law.
