These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Pioneer Research website, including all products, services, information and content made available through the website (collectively, the “Site”).

By accessing, browsing or purchasing from the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.

RESEARCH USE ONLY

Products offered by Pioneer Research are presented and supplied solely for legitimate scientific, laboratory and research purposes, subject to applicable Australian laws and regulations.

By purchasing from the Site, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Products are not represented as medicines, therapeutic goods or treatments.
  • Products are not intended for human or veterinary consumption, administration or application.
  • Products must not be used for diagnosis, treatment, prevention or management of any disease, condition or physiological process.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your purchase, possession, handling, storage, use and disposal of any product complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Pioneer Research does not provide medical advice, dosing advice or instructions for human or veterinary use.

Research-use-only wording does not itself determine the regulatory status or legality of a product. Customers are responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations.

ELIGIBILITY

To purchase from the Site, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age;
  • Have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
  • Purchase products only for lawful purposes;
  • Agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

Pioneer Research reserves the right to request additional information regarding an order where reasonably necessary to verify its intended research purpose or compliance with applicable requirements.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

We endeavour to provide accurate and current information regarding products, specifications, availability and pricing.

However:

  • Product information is provided for research and informational purposes only;
  • Product images may be illustrative and may not represent the exact batch supplied;
  • Products are supplied according to their stated specifications;
  • Certificates of Analysis (COAs) may be provided for applicable batches;
  • Analytical results relate to the specific material and batch tested and should not be interpreted as evidence of suitability for human or veterinary use.

Pioneer Research does not make representations regarding the suitability of any product for a particular research application unless expressly stated.

ORDERS AND PAYMENT

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by Pioneer Research.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit an order where:

  • A product is unavailable;
  • There is an error in pricing, product information or availability;
  • We reasonably believe the order is inconsistent with these Terms;
  • The intended use appears inconsistent with legitimate research purposes;
  • We are required to do so by law or a regulatory authority.

Payments are processed through authorised payment providers. Prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD), with GST applied where applicable.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Pioneer Research currently ships within Australia where permitted by applicable law.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary according to location, carrier conditions and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Pioneer Research is not responsible for delays or losses arising from incorrect or incomplete delivery details.

We reserve the right not to ship an order where doing so would breach applicable law or regulatory requirements.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Due to the nature of research materials, returns may be subject to specific conditions.

Where permitted by law:

  • Returns or exchanges are not accepted for products that have been opened, altered or used;
  • Where an incorrect product has been supplied or a product arrives damaged, customers should contact us promptly with supporting photographs and order information;
  • Any issue with an order should be reported as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pioneer Research is not responsible for loss arising from the misuse, improper handling, storage or application of products contrary to their stated research purpose or these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Australian law, including applicable consumer guarantees.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content appearing on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, product descriptions, branding and other materials, is owned by Pioneer Research or used under appropriate licence.

You must not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit Site content without prior written permission.

PRIVACY

Pioneer Research respects your privacy.

Personal information collected through the Site is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

Payment card information is processed through authorised payment providers and is not stored by Pioneer Research in full payment-card form.

COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS

Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with all laws and regulations applicable to their purchase, possession, handling, storage, transport, use and disposal of research materials.

This may include Commonwealth, state and territory requirements relating to chemicals, biological materials, therapeutic goods, controlled substances, workplace safety, transport and waste disposal.

Where applicable, Pioneer Research may refuse an order where we reasonably believe fulfilment would breach an applicable legal or regulatory requirement.

Pioneer Research may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
